Monarch Precious Metals: A Closer Look
The Monarch Precious Metals Company is a Phoenix, Oregon based silver minting company that has recently come on the scene offering some old products with new unique twists. The have been around for only about a year, but demand for their products has begun to increase as premiums for their bullion are beginning to appear on websites like EBay and many others.
The company allows investors to purchase silver bars ranging from 2 troy ounces to 50 troy ounces on their website. The current premiums are between $2.50 per ounce for the smaller bars and only $0.90 per ounce over spot for the larger ones.
One of the reasons I prefer Monarch Precious Metal's bars is because they are poured into the traditional "loaf" style that all but disappeared from view a couple of decades ago. In a time where numismatic interest and premiums often overshadow the silver bullion value of a product, Monarch Precious Metals has done a great job refocusing the bullion collectors and reminding them that there are bullion products out there for those of us who are not as interested in the numismatic aspect of collecting and investing.
I have purchased a few Monarch Precious Metals bars myself and am very pleased with their products. All of their bars are hand weighed and re-melted if they are not found to be of exact weight. In fact, the company's website states that all of their bars are actually over-weight, on average about 1.3 grams, to ensure that customers do not feel like they are getting cheated out of a few precious grams or grains when they purchase their products.
I highly recommend this company's products to anyone wishing to add to their precious metals stack. There are a lot of new bullion companies coming online recently, and MPM is at the forefront. If you don't feel like having your items shipped you can buy them in person at a coin shop near the company's Rouge Valley headquarters. I'm assuming that there would be a small premium associated with buying the bullion at the shop, but it's always nice to support the local economy whenever and wherever you can. The coin shop is called Oregon Coin and Jewelry, and is located in Medford, Oregon. The shop's website doesn't make any mention of the fact that MPM has chosen them as their sole retail outlet, but a couple of different bars are available online from Oregon Coin and Jewelry. I was a little disappointed by their website and lack of promotional foresight, but all in all, they seem to offer some nice coins and bullion at reasonable prices.
Whatever kinds of bullion you choose to accumulate is up to you. But if you're looking for a supplier that takes the time to listen to its customers and offers excellent products at very reasonable prices, then checkout Monarch Precious Metals. They have a simple but effective website at www.monarchpreciousmetals.com. If you're a fan of the old-fashioned loaf style poured bars, they are the place for you.

I don't think so..
MPM's premiums are getting too bloated, save your cash and buy premium bullion for the same price. Premium will be added when you sell but not for generic bullion like MPM sells.
I love Monarch Precious Metals
MPM has become my "go-to" spot for the lowest price silver bullion on the web.
Not only has their shipping been lightning fast but their product just "emanates" superior quality.
Each piece comes to you brand new and shiny and everything is clearly marked for purity/fineness and total troy ounces. Exactly what real silver stackers like me are looking for.
I highly recommend the "flat" 5 ounce bar, it feels "soooo gooood" in my hand.
