Christmas is right around the corner, and if you’re like me, you are not nearly finished with your shopping. To me, shopping around the holidays takes up so much time. Yes, it is fun; but it is also frustrating and time consuming.
To deal with this, I have been doing most of my shopping online. I used to be a big Black Friday shopper; however, I am just plain tired of the crowds and the pushing and everything else that occurs on that crazy morning.
Internet shopping is so much easier. I can sit with my laptop, in my pajamas, and place my orders. This year, I chose a couple of websites and asked both of my kids to fill out a shopping cart on each site. This worked great. After they did this, I price shopped around with the items and ended up finding great deals online for the things they really wanted. I’ve noticed that certain websites, like ones that sell almost anything you can imagine, offer great deals, and have certain daily deals. These allow customers to find the things they need at great prices.
Another thing I look for is sites that offer free shipping. Shipping prices can really get you if you are not careful, but why pay shipping when many places offer to ship the goods for free. Now, keep in mind, you might need to meet a minimum order amount to qualify.
This is my type of shopping, and I think that from now on, I will lean more and more on shopping online. It’s fast, easy and I can find everything I need without ever leaving my home.
